Mega-shoe retailer, Aldo, did a fantastic job at celebrating their big 4-0 in style for the last ten days. This is an oldie but a goodie - I did a DIY for The Main MTL last year and I still get so many hits on my blog being referred from this article. To my suprise, this DIY is also being pinned all around pinterest. I noticed I never posted it on my new blog and thought I would go ahead and share it with my new readers.
This DIY consists of making a pair of comic book heels. It takes some time and patience, but you'll end up with a kickass pair of heels, which will totally make it worth it. Also, all you need are some comic books, Mod Podge and I used an old pair of shoes i had lying around the house. No doubt, you have a pair too.
Fun times last night at day 2 of Montreal Fashion Week. I got to see 3 amazing shows presented by DUY, Denis Gagnon and UNTTLD. DUY was my favourite collection of the night (you can read my review for Indecent Xposure -> HERE + other show reviews coming all week-long). Unfortunately I was very down to go see Hip & Bone tonight, but I have class. On a side note, Fashion Night Out is happening in Canada for the first time ever, so I'll be catching the excitement in Montreal on St-Paul street. Montreal Fashion Week kicks off in just a couple of days followed by New York Fashion Week not soon after. As usual i'm stocked to be attending again this year (covering for Indecent Xposure) but I'm happy to have some fashion week experience under my belt. I have attended Fashion Week for a few years now as a general fashion lover and as a blogger and I have come to terms with my Fashion Week faux-pas, but there are definitely some uh-oh moments I wish I could have avoided.
